      Region 3 Gathering - Dec 5-7, 2011 - Green Lake Bible Camp, Spicer, MN

      You bet, food and hospitality will be our focus for this year's gathering.  All of us in our positions at camp include hospitality, so why not focus our gathering on one aspect and that is our food ministry.

      Come to share in conversation and experience to dive deep into food and how it helps us all do our ministry better

      Be ready to share insights, evaluate what you do, and to share in a unique experience of evaluating a local restaurants view of hospitality in the Wilmar, Spicer, New London and Paynesville area!

      Monday 
      2-4 pm Arrive and settle

      10:30am " Main Course" Individual Camp Evaluation of Food Service Philosophy

      Director of Pine Lake and Day Camp Programs.  Erika has been with Pine Lake since 2003.  Erika has a passion for outdoor ministries and has educated hundreds of outdoor minitry staff around the country through her work with LOM.  We are honored that Erika will be sharing with us the Philosophy of Food Service as a ministry!  Menu planning, staff management, food presentation, food ordering, food cost monitoring and more are so important to the experience people have when on site at our camps.  Erika will be presenting Monday afternoon and evening during the appetizers and soup and salad sessions.

      Food Philosophy is so important to the staff at Outlaw Ranch and AMR in western South Dakota.  Mary, Associate Director of the camp, Marlys, Current Food Service Director and Joyce, Former Food Service Director, will share with us their camp's food ministry Tuesday morning at the MAIN COURSE.
